Confidential Cloud Computing & Azure

For an end to end life-cycle of data, the most important aspect of all in Data Management would be Data Security. Of-course we retaliate with the statement that data is secured and controlled with proper data governance strategy and further the data is encrypted while in transit or at rest. But the question has always resonated, what-if when the data is being processed in memory and if the intruder can tap in.

Of course the demand to address such scenario would not exist with every organisation, but relatively there are still one-off businesses that demands security even in such exceptional state. This is where Confidential Computing comes in to play and it focuses on securing data in use. It is the final piece to enable data protection through its life-cycle whether at rest, in transit, or in use.

Lately Azure has been one of the few cloud providers in accommodating the same by releasing Confidential Compute VM's (DC-Series) through Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) in Cloud.

Furthermore we now have confidential computing available for Kubernetes on Azure.

  1. Whether you work in a small company or large enterprise, you probably collect data from various portals, ERPs, CRMs, flat files, databases, APIs, and much more. That's why I suggest you to use Inetsoft.
